People active on social media probably know by now that on Tuesday, Twitter unveiled a big change to the look and feel of their profile pages – a new header photo (oooh, ahhh), which really is just a copy of Facebook’s new cover photo of months ago.
They updated the Twitter iPhone and iPad apps too, and I must say, I really dig the iPad app. Very slick.
Here’s my new Twitter header photo – maybe not as creative as it could be, but I like the colours in the sunset photo (not to mention the scene from my kayak one lovely night at Forest Lake), and I think it compliments my profile picture nicely.
It’s very easy to convert; Find out how on Mashable now.
It’s a small change, and a nice looking one, if you ask my opinion; although I’m sure there are folks out there that are resisting it, even outright criticizing it. People had some pretty nasty things to say about the cover photo (or any change Facebook pushes out for that matter), and it always amazes me how much people care – like really, why is it such a big deal to you? Is your life that static that a new layout on your Facebook wall is enough to cause you physical pain and anguish? (I, for one, like the Facebook timeline layout.)
What are your thoughts on the new Twitter header photo update?
